The Board of Home Missions facilitates the establishment of new Reformed Presbyterian congregations in North America by providing Counsel, Encouragement, Resources, and Training (CERT) to presbyteries. The Synod has declared that church planting should be a high priority and has encouraged each presbytery to adopt a goal for new mission churches. New works are under consideration in every presbytery. The Home Mission Board also provides help to local congregations in the area of evangelism and church growth.
